Stara has extended our team to include a new associate and we are pleased welcome Damien. With extensive senior management experience at the Department of Communities, recent Chair and Director roles on NFP Boards, and over a decade of executive experience in People & Capability and Health & Safety, our colleague brings a unique and valuable perspective.

Are you looking for a supervisor to help with your work? As well as the 3 team members here at Stara we have access to more than 2000 supervisors who have attended our courses over the past 13 years. Most Allied Health professions are covered so we can seek out people with similar work issues to you. You may just want a one-off session to untangle a particular issue or maybe long term support with your professional career. Stara is building a register so we can link people offering supervision with those seeking assistance. The requests we get range from people needing help with applications for jobs, help with a particularly thorny work issue through to those seeking longer term professional support.
We are resricting the list to people who have attended our Intermediate or Advanced course.

Live Supervision Feedback
Those of you who have attended our courses will acknowledge the value of high quality immediate feedback and hopefully you make use of your supervisee in helping you develop your skills.
Stara is now offering a live feedback service where one of the team will either attend one of your supervision sessions, watch live via internet or review your practice using a film you have made of a session.
Some permissions and agreements will need to be put in place for this to happen not least an approval from your supervisee.
