What's it about?
This 1-day workshop is designed to assist workers in facilitating meetings from case conferences to team meetings to training sessions. The course will review group processes, leadership and facilitation models and the use of influence where no formal authority exists. The course will focus on the particular areas the participants identify as problematic for them as a basis for practice opportunities with heavy doses of feedback from courses trainers and fellow participants.
Aim
The aim of this programme is to further develop the individuals facilitation skills.
Learning Outcomes
At the end of this programme, the expected outcomes will be for participants to:

Identify the dynamics of a group through observation;

Recognise the relationship between content and process in groups;

Develop facilitation and valued group member skills;

Pre-requisits:
There are no pre-requisites for this course, however it is most helpful for people who are in positions where they manage staff or have responsibility for a student.
