The Symposium is calling for papers

PAPERS

Papers will be allocated a total of:

  • 30 minutes including questions
  • 60 minutes including questions.

Those abstracts not selected for oral presentation may be offered a poster presentation or display space.

PREPARING YOUR ABSTRACT

Abstracts should consist of no more than 500 words. The abstract should provide sufficient information to allow the reader to assess the relevance to the audience in terms of clinical practice. Abstracts should also include the following sections:

Details of authorship

Name(s), title of paper and contact details.

Introduction

The purpose of the presentation and relevance to practice.

Content

Brief overview of relevant literature/current research and a short explanation of key practice areas being presented.

Conclusion

implications for future directions.

SUBMITTING YOUR ABSTRACT

Electronic submission is the only method of receipt of abstracts. When completing the on line form you will be able to attach your abstract but must use either a doc, docx or RTF file.

Please submit your abstract no later than Friday 26th July 2013 using the on line link or direct by email to Lindy Hall

CONFIRMATION

Immediately following submission, you will receive an acknowledgment email confirming receipt of your abstract.

ACCEPTED PAPERS

If your paper is accepted for inclusion we will contact you to discuss details. We will ask for a short biography and photograph to go alongside the abstract on the web-site.

One complementary ticket will be given for each succesful application
